Can LK enlighten me as to why our G90-C
has slowed down?
We got the machine new last Nov. and it was pleasingly quick. We were running a 200mHz Pentium Pro with NT and the 32 bit version of WinCMES (version 4.2e I think). When VisualCMES finally came out earlier this year it was shipped to us on a CD along with a newer version of WinCMES (v.4.3). As soon as this was installed, processing seemed to slow by half. Actual machine speed is unchanged, but now there are pauses between programmed commands. Parts that used to be inspected in less than three minutes now take longer than six. The computer has recently been upgraded to a 300mHz Pentium II with very little speed change and our company PC guru is mystified (it's not his fault).
