Our probe rack broke where the pedestal meets the probe holder portion. The cross section of the pedestal tube at this point is thin. In addition the fracture occurred across the last internal thread used to fasten the pedestal to the probe holder.

This SCR 200 probe rack was mounted on a Sheffield Discovery 8 CMM.

Has anyone out there had a similar problem?
