Duane, If a dimension is not on the current drawing, it should not be included on the inspection report. However, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't check it. If there is a pertinent dimension missing from a drawing, I would inform the customer and see about having it added to the drawing. I am not aware of any mention of this in the ANSI Y14.5 standard though.
