For approx. USD 40-45'000 we could build the following machine

- cylindrical dual probe geometry
- radius and diameter measurements
- outer radius 10 - 220 mm
- inner radius 40 - 220 mm
- 360° in 5 s with 100 radius values
- direct encoder position correlation to diameter
- calibrated accuracy and precision up to 1 um radius, 2 um diameter
- cylindrical part 3D centering
- full software support on Windows 2000,
- integrated SQL Server 2000 Relational Database Project (no license)

Of course it would be easier to build 3 or more than 1 at a time, but we take what
we can get.

As to the size, we are using NSK Linear drives, which can be concatenated up to
several meters without loss of relative positional accuracy.
