We are working on a project consisting the development of a software for automatic inspection of components using integration of CAD model with CMM.
I am stuck up at a point of how exactly to communicate the CMM, the basic functions like travel a certain distance with certain speed and how to retrieve the coordinates measured.(to be specific:Zeiss-Prismo)
What are the necessary commands or instructions and how DMIS can provide a general set of instructions for any CMM.
