I asked either the Detroit or the Los Angeles Virtual Dmis people about this some time ago and they told me that Virtual Dmis could not use the pattern of holes as a Datum or do the calculation. Perhaps when when DMIS 4.0 is supported it will have this ability. You might give them a call and ask or perhaps they will post here and clear it up.
