SUMMARY Twenty Five years experience in Quality Control and Statistical Process Control and CMM Programing associated with precision inspection of parts, tools, gages, and assemblies used in varied types of industries. Utilizing a complete knowledge of all equipment, manufacturing process and quality engineering methodology as well as GD&T. Skilled in all tools necessary to perform any inspections to military and/or customers specifications, such as basic hand on and bench tools, surface plate equipment, layout, CMM’s, profilometers, comparators, non-contact gages and autocolumators,Federal Formscan 2000. which allows me the ability to correspond with design engineers and machine operators like to assure a level of quality applicable to the product.

1997 to Present Textron Defense Systems: Wilmington,MA
ENGINEERING SPECIALIST and SENIOR PROGRAMER
CMM programmer,C++ language and also Tutor for Windows, senior inspector, and programer for all incoming parts and first pcs from the machine shop.Performed complete layouts for all new and present parts.
Assisted machinists in understanding GD&T related to the project that they were working on.
I wrote INF’s,or discrepant parts documents for the Materials Group,so that they may come to a techinical decision in order to accept ot not accept the parts in question

assure that the customer and our group were working to the same goal

1988 to 1991 OPTRONICS: Chelmsford, MA
Reviewed proposed products and fabrication processes for the purpose of avoiding or eliminating unnecessary quality difficulties. Recommended changes to component drawings to improve manufacturability, reduced cost and complexity, and ensured compliance to standards. Performed vendor capability studies to ensure quality requirements and standards were met. Rated parts based on complexibility and assisted purchasing in placing orders with suppliers having the appropriate capability to perform the required activity, and worked with purchasing to start and maintain a dock to stock program with qualified suppliers. Created processes and procedures for incoming inspection and quality audits both suppliers. Created processes and procedures for incoming inspection and quality audits both at the vendor site and in-house. Developed a data collection, analysis, and feedback system for incoming material, as well as for evaluation of field service data. Provided training, direction, and technical assistance to less senior incoming inspectors. Evaluated non-conforming material and recommended final disposition. Maintained integrity of support documentation: Spec. Books, Assembly drawings- by issuance of ECO’s as required.

1988-1989 BARRY CONTROLS; Watertown, MA
