I'm just wondering if anyone else out there feels the same as I do. Over the past three years our company has had to repair or replace either a PH9A head or a PH9 controller several times. If you know anything about these, you know they don't come cheap and the rebuilt ones don't come with much of a warranty. The CMM will be acting fine and then all of a sudden for no apparrent reason we start having problems and the solution to the problem almost always seems to deal with the head or controller. Other than handling these things with kid gloves and not having disasterous crashes, can anything else be done to insure a longer life for these items?
