I would prefer not to have to create CAD geometry at this point, just to keep the CAD file simple. I have been trying to invert the trim measurements and move them by the 3mm distance. We were hoping to check the profile on part and fixture (in both directions - surface and edge and tolerance distance to evaluate clearance (3mm). Can you move the trims to the offset material amount?
