I have the file called MirrDmis.exe (runs in a Dos window and it just asks for an input and output filename). We have used this program numerous times and it has saved us quite a bit of time. I couldn’t figure out how in handles the sensor info but it is the only thing we have for mirroring a Dmis program for left and right parts. If anyone has or knows of any other utilities for doing this I would like to get a hold of one.
Of the three types of variables, is it possible to have one still exist once a program is closed (but LkDmis is still kept open). For example, I am checking numerous parts and don’t want to have to assign the same variables, the same info for each part (I have to close the file each time so I can get the result file). It is possible to test to see if a variable exists, if so I could jump over the DECL statement that is resetting it?
I have been having trouble getting the datum in LkDmis v5.0e and Camio v2.0 tied together so that the probe in Camio actually follows the part. When I have managed to do this I find that Camio actually slows the machine down. LkDmis keeps pausing and waiting for Camio to catch up. It seems to run a little bit faster if the part isn’t rendered. Any suggestions?
Thanks for any ….Mark
