Using LK-DMIS the application is 'aware' of the current tool information in the CMMDriver. Any application that controls the machine via the LK CMM Driver should be able to keep track of configuration items.
Also Valisys should have methods for changing machine speeds and settings which should update the values in the configuration file within the programmed limits. The names of the different settings will probably be different to the ones in the config. file. The names of the variables in the config file are the controller values. Each application that accesses the Driver will have it's own name for each variable.
