You can permanently change the MEA data with the config save/restore command and any text editor.

The line to alter is HSD14 or thereabouts, look for three linear style numbers, approximate to 1.00000000000000000, seperated by commas.

Make a backup, make the change, restore the change, check the result.

Be sure to warn the next Sheffield guy that comes along that you fixed it, because he'll try to use Autocal, and it defaults to the original value. So you'll have to give him the old copy to restore before he performs Autocal.
