Hi guys, I'm looking for any input I can get relating to calculating measurement uncertainty with the Faro arm in different on-site environments. The biggest factor which I need to be able to quantify is vibration such as in a stamping or forging environment. I had the idea of performing a quick single point repeatability test in each environment to estimate the uncertainty, anyone have ideas ?

This is simple to do in a controlled environment such as an inspection lab but becomes more challenging when the environment changes.

I have contacted Faro but have had no response. Any input would be appreciated.

P.S. Where has everyone gone ? I haven't seen many posting for the last couple of months.
