This question applies for all CMM programmers using a Renishaw head. Wile scanning, my program will occasionally miss a scan stop point. This means the CMM will continue to scan down the probe shank until
it hits the TP2. At this time I get a "PH10 received excess force" error. Now, my question, Once the head brakes loose, does this mean my probe cal is void? I haven't really had the time to test this. Has anyone?
