Okay, my "rookieness" ("rookiehood"? "rookieism"?)... may be showing here, but, if a parallelism callout comparing two planes is 0.1 and the actual measurement is 0.018, what is that telling me? That the two planes are only 18 microns from being exactly parallel? If so, where does the 0.018 come from? (Can the answer to the last question be a brief explanation, or will it take a lengthy delving into deep, mysterious math? If the latter, forget it..I'll just accept what the CMM tells me and go on with life...)
