We have an IMS Merlin CMM with a Dell PC, NT 5.0 and Virtual DMIS software. We have began experiencing error messages "7020". It is a communication error from the PC to the controller. We have been told to open up the PC and clean all connections, re-seat all of the boards and plug ins. I have seen other postings in regards to the same problems. Has anyone else seen this problem and did you have any luck in fixing it?
