I have a new PH10T with a Medium force TP20 and Standard force TP20 Probe. When I run the calibration routing on the Master Ball using a 5mmX50mm Stylus (.19685 ball on a 50mm graphite shank) I get .015" difference in the reported stylus size from the Medium force probe to the STD force probe.
Is this normal? Is there a compensation factor that should be used? I'm running a Mitutoyo Crysta 540 with GeoMeasure 6000.
I'm measuring bores that call out .0002" to .0005" run out tolerances and I'm concerned about any results I get with either probe.
Anyone have any ideas?
