We use slots with radius ends as tertiary datums quite often. More times than not the slots are offset and rotated (see attached PDF). What is the correct way tolerance a slot such as this? I feel the way we are currently doing this is not correct. Does the diametrical symbol belong in this FCF? Or is it better to tolerance the slot's width and length separately?
