Ian's suggestion will work. Please note, that in LK-DMIS V5.3 due out later this year we will include support for generated PTMEAS points based on the nominal definition.

What does surprise me is why you are unable to do this in AUTO mode (unless the hole is not a full circle). Once you have defined the xyzijkd we can measure it in auto in any orientation. Maybe your problem is in defining the vectors properly.
