I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do. It
sounds like you are attempting to calibrate the star
probe as a single probe. Although, this is an
interesting idea it would require point probes of exact
lengths. If you are able cover one hemisphere of the
master ball when calibrating each stylus this should be
adequate. For better accuracy reduce the size and
weight of the star probe. If you have a DCC machine you
can program the calibration of the star probe using a
teach method but don't look for an automatic star probe
calibration routine, there isn't one.
