I have a question concerning calling an external program.

Is it possible to use a variable in the statement?

If it is possible, how is it done?

IE:
CALL/EXTERN,SYS, ? VARIABLE ?

I have an engineer that is trying to program my CMM (LKDMIS, 5.5) and is looking for shortcuts.
