Just wondered if anyone could help me understand the uncertainty specification on the calibration certificate of our CMM (belonging in this forum room).
"Calibration procedures are in accordance with ISO 10360-2. Estimated uncertainty of stated value is...1+(2.5+...L/1000). Uncertainty is represented by expanded uncertainties expressed at approximately 95% confidence level using a factor of K-2."
So are 100% of the readings I get within the stated uncertainty (ISO 10360-2 spec.) or only 95% (old B95 spec.)?
The reason I ask is we have to requalify probes pretty often and it seems we still get flyers off a ring gauge.
The CMM is new with latest software.
Also, does anyone have positive experiences using filtering in GeoPak 2.4.R11?
