Is there ANYBODY else with a two-table LK Metre-4 machine out there?
I haven't had any luck, with the version of WINCMES32 I've got, at stopping
the darn thing from auto-initialising (so that I can write a start-up
routine in CMES). The version of WINCEMES32 I have doesn't know diddly about two tables, but it insists on doing it's auto start-up thing, and
becomes immediately brain-dead (complaints about impossible coordinate
systems is all it manages to whine about).
Here at GM, Boxwood Rd., Wilmington De., we also have a twin-column machine where this version runs fine(yes, a right-hand AND a left-hand config). It's the tables. With Valysis, it was the tables. With WINCMES32 it's the tables. It's been the tables since we got rid of the antique HP 1000 that ran a v9.3 kludge of a port from DEC machines(and everything worked). Nothing like progress.

Maybe if we get rid of the early-eighties vintage controller from Cranston University Precision Engineering...anyway, I'd sure appreciate hearing if anyone else has seen this particular situation.
