Greetings from Middle River Aircraft Systems in
Baltimore, MD. Our company recently purchased a BRT-1230.
We have the GeoPak 6000 windows NT version. So far things
have been going pretty smooth. We've made several programs
since purchasing the end of last year. Our training was
alittle scimpy in the tolerancing area, but with alittle
time an experienced cmm person will pick it up fine. We're
still due training in the SPC and CADPAK portions. Being
an aerospace company, we really need the CAD capability.
I'm use to programming offline with Valisys or DMIS utilizing CATIA. It seems however, the mitutoyo folks are having trouble getting the autocad with mechanical desktop software we need to continue on. I was interested to know if any other users have crossed this problem. I worked with the GeoPak 5000 software in Tennessee (Boeing) and found it also to be good stuff. Any Comments?
