Since the machine is almost 15 years old, if it has anything other than the MP20 it would be probably be in HP Basic. And since he asked for something SIMPLE to learn and use, he probably doesn't want MeasureMax. It's probably great if you have someone that can be fulltime just programming it but this appears to be a small shop and they probably can't afford that.

One of our customers recently retrofit his 1808 MEA to VirtualDmis from IMS and he was very happy with it. He was not impressed with Sheffield(G&L).
