Steve,
I figured out how to call the 16 bit DLL's from a 32 bit environment.
I created a 16 bit OLE Server (encapsulated the dll interface into a class object) using VB 4.0, created some property's & method's, then compiled it as a OLE Server. I can now use this as an Object in VB 5.0. Using the object is quite easy as it is just a matter of calling the objects method's & property's. Creating the OLE Server was also easy with no complications.
I do appreciate your reply's. At this point, we cannot justify upgrading to the 32 bit version of WINCMES. But I would be interested in knowing what features have been incorprated into the 32 Bit version. I would appreciate if you can send me an E-Mail of the changes made to the 32 bit version and what features have been added to allow better access to the measurement interface from VB.
