The author forgot to mention that this procedure is theoretical at best. How does this handle tolerances, probe moves, GD&T callouts, (i.e. profile of a surface)???
Better solution would to use a full function system, such as CheckMate from Origin International. CheckMate will produce complete ready to run programs for Geopak 2100, as well as Geopak 3, Geomeasure 4000/6000, using MTI's various DMIS translators. Many existing sites are already doing this.
