When trying to construct a cone from two circles using the code: CONST/CONE,F(CO0),BF,FA(CR1)[1,16],FA(CR2)[1,16] I find I get what I think is a cosine error because it appears that the point file is not compensated for the vector of the cone angle. when you teach a cone the points are taken with normal x,y vectors then when you repeat the measurements in auto mode you can see the vectors of the points have been changed to the cone angle. Does DMIS do this with a feature construction? I am running an LK machine with LK DMIS Is it possible that it is the LK software and not the DMIS that causes this error?
