Typically cylinder probes are only used for 2-D EDGE MEASUREMENT... our experience is to directly input into your program the diametral value of the cylinder... measure a known standard (say .5" ring or pin) and adjust your probe diameter statement up or down depending on the deviation from .5" until the results are acceptable... your cannot calibrate a cylinder stylus on a
spherical artifact...
