Just to follow up on Mark's reply. I represent LK on the DNSC (DMIS National Standards Committee) and we had lengthy discussions regarding electronic publication of the DMIS spec. during our last meeting.

The general feeling of all vendors and users was that it is desirable to make the spec. available in electronic format but CAM-I are extremely sensitive about copyright protection and loss of revenue.

However a decisision was taken to investigate the matter further and we hope to have a resolution by the next meeting in Jan 98.
