I can not get my machine to recognize my computer's name on a network. The machine is a ScanMax CMM and is connected thru a Accton EtherHub 16S+ to my dell PC. Is it the operating system, should it be Windows NT? I've double checked the name with the command lines in dos, all the files have the correct name. Now what, any suggestions would help.
