After trying the Chat feature again (thanks to Josh Farmer for his help), I didn't like the way the refresh works. To correct this I have enable Java-based, full IRC compliant chatting on The CMM Forum. This means you will have to tolerate a quick initial download of the Java client before your first chat - I hope this proves to be an acceptable trade off for the dramatically enhanced chatting capability. This also means you can participate in chats with and IRC compliant chat client.

Notes on Paging:
1) The current users list has some latency - not all users displayed may still be accessing the forum due to the limits of browsing technology.
2) When paging, the page can only be delivered as the target user moves between pages or refreshes the display - also a limitation of the technology being used.
